Robert completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto and received his law degree from the University of Windsor. While completing his legal studies, Robert participated in the Gale Cup national advocacy competition and was awarded the Dickson Medal for distinguished advocacy. Robert briefly worked at the Crown Attorney’s Office and later articled and practiced as an associate at a well-known criminal defence firm in Toronto.
In 2005, Robert joined Lockyer Campbell Posner and was a partner at the firm until 2014. During his time there, Robert successfully represented individuals in all levels of trial and appellate court in Ontario. Robert’s practice is wide-ranging and has included representing individual’s charged with murder, possession of guns and drugs, frauds, drinking and driving, and assaults. Robert always provides a vigorous, thorough and skilled legal defence no matter how sensitive or high-profile the case with acquittals consistently being the end result. He has conducted hundreds of trials and continues to devote the highest quality of service to each person he represents.
