Prior to becoming a lawyer I was raised on farm in central South Dakota. My hobbies were primarliy basketball and music, since I play guitar. I gradulated from college with an BS in Criminal Justice with plans to make a career in law enforcement, which I did for 5 years and then things changed. I went to law school and for the last 27 years have made it my profession. My primary practice is in criminal defense. I prefer to tell people that I practice criminal justice becaue that is truly what I do. There are other areas of law that the firm provides services for also; family law, wills and trusts, personal injury and almost all types of litigation.
My beautiful wife, Christal and I, have 5 children between us. We have a blended family and it is fantastic. We also have 2 outstanding grandsons and are looking forward to having more in the future.
Im a hunting/firearm advocate enjoy the rare opportunity to travel with my wife when our schedules permit. We keep God at the center of our marriage and try to encourage other to do so as well.
