Gordon Allen Byars was born in Las Vegas but moved to Huntingdon, a small town in West Tennessee, when he was in seventh grade and has remained in Tennessee ever since. Mr. Byars earned his Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville Tennessee.
Mr. Byars earned his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Lincoln Memorial University. While in law school Mr. Byars served as a law clerk for the Tennessee Attorney General and Reporter in Nashville and was selected as a research assistant by the faculty at Lincoln Memorial University. Mr. Byars received the General Oliver O. Howard Pro Bono Award for rendering nearly 200 hours of meaningful pro bono service to those in need while he attended law school.
Mr. Byars was admitted to practice law in Tennessee in 2013 and focus's his practice on defense of felony and misdemeanor crimes as well as DUI, family law, probate matters and landlord/tenant issues.
