Joel has been practicing criminal defence in Vancouver and throughout British Columbia for over 16 years. Joel has earned the respect of his clients and the courts. In addition, Joel does criminal appeals and has defended numerous serious offences including murder, kidnapping, conspiracy, aggravated assault, aggravated sexual assault, exportation and importation, as well as firearms and proceeds of crime offences.

Joel was born in Winnipeg and grew up in Burnaby. He lives in Vancouver and completed his law degree at the University of British Columbia. He is an avid soccer fan and an amateur musician.
