Karyn joined MN Law as an associate after having articled at a prominent criminal defence firm in Vancouver.

Karyn has experience working on a broad range of files including driving offences, assault, sex assault, fraud, extradition, murder, kidnapping, and various drug offences. She also has experience in civil forfeiture matters.

Karyn has volunteered for Pro Bono Students Canada and the UBC Criminal Law Clinic. She was also Assistant Editor of the UBC Law Review and President of UBC’s Student Animal Legal Defence Fund.

In her spare time Karyn enjoys reading, hiking, running, cycling, and travelling home to Halifax.
