Keli graduated with an Honours Degree in English and History from Huron College at Western University (formerly UWO) in 1993. Upon completion of her Law Degree at Western, Keli was called to the Bar in 1998. Keli is the President of the Elgin Law Association, and a member of both the Ontario CLA and the London CLA. She is the past Women’s Vice President of the Ontario Criminal Lawyers Association and has also served as the Women’s Director of the Ontario CLA and the Vice President of the Elgin Law Association. She is the Founder of the Women in Law (WIL) Annual Conference for female criminal defence lawyers from across the province.
Keli is the sole owner and operator of the largest criminal defence practice in St. Thomas, and one of the largest practices in London. Known as the “Pitbull of St. Thomas”, Keli has a reputation for fighting tirelessly for all of her clients. She is a fierce advocate for the rights of all accused persons and ensures fair and equitable treatment for all of her clients. She has over 20 years of experience working with marginalized individuals; specifically, those with mental health challenges and Indigenous persons.
Keli has two children: her daughter is a graduate of Western University and works as a High School Teacher. Her son is currently attending Western University to complete a degree in Psychology. When Keli is not practicing law, she enjoys working out and travelling with her family and friends, particularly to hot sunny places. Keli has an adopted chocolate lab named Cocoa and three cats that live with her at her home in London, Ontario.
