Born in Timmins and raised in Schumacher, Behn’s practice is principally focused on criminal and provincial defense work. Behn is keenly interested in all aspects of criminal law and eager to assist every client in achieving their best result.
Behn joined VanBridger, Tomassini & Gvozdanovic in 2017, and became an associate in 2019, bringing with him a strong sense of social justice and a rigid commitment to advancing his clients’ best interests at reasonable costs. He routinely appears before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Provincial Offences Court; having served communities ranging geographically from Attawapiskat to Guelph, defending allegations ranging from driving infractions to drug trafficking.
Behn obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Carleton University in 2013, where he majored in Law and minored in Political Science. In 2019, Behn obtained his Juris Doctor from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law and was called to the Bar in Ontario shortly thereafter.
