Alex Lam is a criminal defence lawyer based in Toronto, Ontario, representing clients facing criminal charges in Toronto and the surrounding area. If you've been charged, contact her office to discuss your situation.
Alex was called to the bar of Ontario in 2020. He previously articled at Derstine Penman. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School. During law school, Alex served as an editor of the Journal of Law and Social Policy, a caseworker with the law school’s legal aid clinic, and a volunteer with Pro Bono Students Canada.
Alex has assisted on criminal matters at the trial and appellate levels for a wide range of provincial and federal offences. He has a particular interest in exploring constitutional issues arising from the issuance of search warrants in drug trafficking matters.
Alex is a volunteer with the Pro Bono Ontario helpline, assisting low income Ontarians on contractual dispute issues.
