Catherine’s practice extends to all areas of criminal law, with a particular focus on drug-related and property offences as well as weapons offences.
EDUCATION
Catherine graduated from Carleton University with an honours degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a concentration in law in 2012. She completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Windsor in 2016, and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2017.
While at the University of Windsor, Catherine gained valuable experience in criminal law and client advocacy through working for Community Legal Aid as a caseworker. Catherine was then selected to be a litigator and represented clients at the Ontario Court of Justice and the Ontario Landlord and Tenant Board. Catherine also held the position of teaching assistant for the first year criminal law class where she explored numerous issues in criminal law and procedure.
EXPERIENCE
After graduating, Catherine articled in Brampton where she gained valuable hands on experience in defending criminal charges. She worked alongside senior counsel on a number of complex, serious charges in both the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice.
Catherine is devoted to protecting clients’ rights and will work tirelessly to ensure the best possible outcome for her clients.
