Mr. Tsilingiris holds a law degree from the University of Ottawa Common Law Section, and a Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto. Prior to joining Edward H. Royle & Partners LLP, Mr. Tsilingiris completed his articles at the Ontario Securities Commission where he assisted and participated in securities fraud cases. During his articles he gained extensive litigation and investigation experience on a range of criminal, quasi-criminal, civil, and administrative law matters. Since joining Edward H. Royle & Partners LLP Mr. Tsilingiris exclusively practices criminal law.
While in law school, Mr. Tsilingiris worked for a criminal and family law firm in Barrie, and was a Research Assistant to Tax Law Professor Ellen Zweibel. Mr. Tsilingiris participated and took a leadership role in multiple moots and competitions, including: the Donald G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot, Nelligan O’Brien Payne Moot Court Competition, and Dentons Negotiation Competition. He also co-found and served as co-president of the University of Ottawa’s Tax Law Society.
