Jacob was admitted to the Ontario and New York Bars in 2019.
He graduated with distinction from Queen’s University, having obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. Jacob went on to attend the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. While in law school, he worked as a student for a litigation boutique in Toronto.
Jacob earned his Juris Doctor in 2018 before articling with the in-house litigation team at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CamH). At CamH, Jacob represented the hospital in hearings concerning clients deemed unfit to stand trial or not criminally responsible on account of mental disorder.
In 2020, Jacob completed a Masters of Law degree (LL.M.) with high distinction from Columbia University. Jacob’s Masters of Law concentrated on criminology and mental health law.
Jacob serves as Associate Counsel with the firm and practices criminal law.
