Mitchell is an associate with Hicks Adams LLP. He graduated with a Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University. During law school, Mitchell worked with the Seventh Step Society of Nova Scotia, an organization that assists with reintegrating offenders back into the community. Mitchell also worked as a researcher in criminal procedure at Dalhousie, assisting with drafting the criminal procedure textbook. During his final year, Mitchell completed a semester abroad in amsterdam, Netherlands where he studied international human rights law. Mitchell was a summer student and articling student with Hicks Adams LLP. Prior to law school, Mitchell received his Honours Bachelors of Arts degree in Legal Studies from Carleton University and interned at Langevin Morris Smith LLP in Ottawa. Mitchell’s practice focuses on both criminal trials and parole hearings. Mitchell offers legal services for all types of criminal offences and has worked on cases ranging from mischief to murder.
