She has worked on a wide range of cases, from theft and assault to firearm and drug-related offences. Rebecca summered and articled at Hicks Adams LLP, at which time she gained invaluable experience working alongside senior counsel on complex matters before the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice. Rebecca received her J.D. from the University of Toronto where she focused her studies on criminal law. During law school, Rebecca served as co-president of the Criminal Lawyer’s Association. She volunteered as a working group leader at the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights and a caseworker at Downtown Legal Services. Before attending law school, Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), summa cum laude, in Philosophy from the University of Ottawa.
