Upon graduation, he received the Dean's Gold Key award for his outstanding contribution to the Osgoode community. Rick articled with a leading criminal defence firm in Toronto, where he worked alongside and learned from some of Canada’s top lawyers. There, he gained experience including defending large-scale fraud and criminal organization allegations, regulatory offences, and professional discipline allegations. Rick is called to the bar in Ontario and is a board member of Fair Change Community Services.
