Rick is a criminal defence lawyer who passionately represents his clients, and he is an essential component to each file at the firm. Rick attended Osgoode Hall Law School, where he focused on criminal law. During law school, he was an executive director of Fair Change Community Services, a legal clinic that provides pro bono legal services to street-involved persons charged with provincial offences. Upon graduation, he received the Dean's Gold Key award for his outstanding contribution to the Osgoode community. Rick articled with a leading criminal defence firm in Toronto, where he worked alongside and learned from some of Canada’s top lawyers. There, he gained experience including defending large-scale fraud and criminal organization allegations, regulatory offences, and professional discipline allegations. Rick is called to the bar in Ontario and is a board member of Fair Change Community Services.
