R. Roots Gadhia is a criminal defence lawyer in private practice in Toronto. In 1991, Roots completed a combined honours degree in English and Philosophy from the University of Western Ontario, and graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1995. Following two years as duty counsel in courts across the Greater Toronto Area, Roots opened her own practice in 1999.
