Ms. Ganga is an associate lawyer at Weisberg Law Criminal Lawyers.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ganga completed her articles at another respected criminal law firm in downtown Toronto where she worked on a variety of matters ranging from regulatory charges to serious criminal offences. Ms. Ganga has experience working on both trials and appeals in cases involving sexual assault, firearm offences, drug offences, impaired driving, and murder. Ms. Ganga co-authored an article on sexual relationship evidence that was published in For the Defence, the Criminal Lawyers’ Association Magazine (2019).
Ms. Ganga obtained her Juris Doctorate from Osgoode Hall Law School. At Osgoode, she completed a clinical placement at CLASP, a student-run legal clinic, where she managed her own criminal law files. While in this position, Ms. Ganga represented numerous clients charged with criminal offences at the Ontario Court of Justice. While in law school, Ms. Ganga also worked as a research assistant, focusing her research on various criminal law and evidence issues. As a research assistant, she also worked on projects for the Canadian Muslim Lawyers’ Association, the Criminal Lawyers’ Association, and the Social Science and Humanities Research Council. Ms. Ganga was also selected in law school to participate in the Walsh Moot where she was awarded prizes for Best Factum and Best Overall Team.
