Sean Robichaud was called to the Ontario bar in 2005. After completing his Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and psychology at Queen’s University in Kingston, he continued his studies at the Queen’s Law School until he obtained his LL.B. (J.D.) in 2004. In 2013, Mr. Robichaud obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the Osgoode Hall Specialization Program in Criminal Law and Procedure.
Mr. Robichaud is a Certified Specialist in criminal law by the Law Society of Ontario. The Law Society recognizes Certified Specialists as “members of the Law Society who have met established standards of experience and knowledge requirements in one or more designated areas of law and have maintained exemplary standards of professional practice.”
He started his career in 2004 with Pinkofskys in Toronto. After articles, he remained with the firm to be hired back as an associate and then quickly became partner. In 2009, he left the firm to start his own and has now grown it the ideal size it is today. Over his career, Mr. Robichaud has successfully defended and obtained acquittal verdicts for individuals charged with offences ranging from possession of marijuana to first-degree murder. The primary focus of the practice and his interest is in areas of sexual assault, domestic violence, homicide, impaired driving, and drug offences / regulation.
Sean Robichaud is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario, the Advocate’s Society, The Canadian Bar Association, The Toronto Lawyers’ Association, and the Criminal Lawyers Association. Mr. Robichaud has also testified as an expert witness on criminal law matters before the Senate of Canada. In 2019, Sean was appointed to sit on the Board of Directors for Legal Aid Ontario for 2019-2021 where he also sat on the Operations and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees.

York Regional Law Association (also sitting on the Criminal Law Committee, and Social Committee)
Ontario Federation of Ontario Federation of Trail Riders (also sitting on the Communications Commitee)
Kawartha Offroad Riders Motorcycle Association / Kawartha ATV Association
Sean is an active member of his local and recreational communities. He sits as co-Chairperson on the Appeals Committee of East Gwillimbury, the East Gwillimbury Active Transportation & Trails Advisory Committee. In his own time, Sean spends as much time as he can with his family, is an active member of the off-road recreational community organizing rides and events, races off-road motorcycles in the motocross and enduro circuits in Ontario, and snowboards when the snow arrives.
