Julie Santarossa graduated from the University of Windsor, School of Law in 2007 and was called to the bar in Ontario in 2008. Ms. Santarossa's practice has primarily focused on criminal law. She has worked as a lawyer at Ducharme Fox as an associate to Patrick Ducharme. She has also worked as a lawyer in Toronto at Lockyer Campbell Posner, known for taking on tough appeal cases. These experiences have allowed Ms. Santarossa to learn how to defend a multitude of criminal charges including: drug related, impaired driving, assault and sexual assault charges. Her extensive experience has allowed her to develop strong advocacy skills; tirelessly advocating for her clients interests, freedoms and rights.
Ms. Santarossa has successfully defended charges of attempt murder, human trafficking, assault, sexual assault, impaired driving and possession, trafficking and importing drugs. She has successfully defended charges based on a violation of her client's Charter rights. Ms. Santarossa has experience litigating in the highest Courts in the province including the Ontario Court of Appeal. She is currently working on murder appeals to the Ontario Court of Appeal.
Ms. Santarossa continues to be invited as a guest lecturer at the University of Windsor Law School teaching Criminal Procedure and Criminal Trial Advocacy.
