After passing the bar, Nic began his practice working at a firm in Birmingham, Alabama. There, Nic focused primarily on local government law and also served as assistant prosecutor for several area municipalities. In December 2016, Nic founded The Waddell Law Firm, LLC, which allowed him to focus his practice primarily on the area of criminal law.
