Mr. Bennett was raised in Northeast Arkansas. He graduated from Arkansas State University with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in English. Mr. Bennett also earned a specialist degree in Community College Teaching. From there, he earned a law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law.
Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Bennett served as a law clerk for the Former Chief Justices W.H. “Dub” Arnold and Betty C. Dickey of the Arkansas Supreme Court. Subsequently, Mr. Bennett entered private practice.
