1600 Broadway Ste 1200, Denver, Colorado
Christen E. Keller began her legal career in 2013 as an assistant public defender in Florida. She took more cases to trial than any other lawyer in the office during the years of 2014 and 2015 and has tried over 50 cases in front of a jury. Through that experience, she witnessed the unfairness that is present in our country’s justice system. From the beginning of her career, Ms. Keller dedicated herself to becoming a strong representative for the accused.
She moved to Colorado in 2016, and before joining Springer & Steinberg, P.C., Ms. Keller furthered her commitment to the accused by working as a contract attorney and as a law clerk for district court judges presiding over criminal cases. The injustices Ms. Keller saw during her time as a public defender continue to motivate her as a trial lawyer. Her practice focuses on criminal defense, as well as appellate law. Ms. Keller credits her in-trial acumen to her adaptability, strategic mind, and passion for defending her clients’ rights.
Ms. Keller serves her community as a board member and treasurer for Learn Your Rights in Colorado (LYRIC), a non-profit organization whose mission is to educate young people on their constitutional rights and provide advice for defending those rights when interacting with law enforcement.
Ms. Keller has also been featured as an attorney speaker with U.S. Law Shield since 2016.
In her spare time, she enjoys rock climbing, skiing, traveling, and exploring the mountains of Colorado.
