26 W. Dry Creek Circle, Littleton, Colorado
I have practiced criminal law for over 33 years, 22 years as a Deputy District Attorney and Chief Deputy District Attorney in the 18th Judicial District - Arapahoe, Douglas, Elbert and Lincoln Counties. In late 2009 I opened my criminal defense practice and continue to focus on criminal law and procedure.
Over the years I have both prosecuted and defended cases involving a wide range of criminal charges - from misdemeanor traffic offenses, DUI, DUID, domestic violence, felony menacing, child abuse, arson, sexual assault, aggravated robbery, vehicular assault, vehicular homicide and 1st degree murder and most everything in between. As a member of the 18th Judicial District's Critical Incident Team, I responded to officer involved shootings and in-custody deaths.
I have taught classes on trial techniques, criminal procedure and criminal law to both prosecutors and law enforcement officers. I have testified before legislative committees on matters relating to criminal law and procedure and assisted in drafting proposed legislation in those areas. I have briefed and argued numerous cases before the appellate courts in the state of Colorado. Each client I represent receives the benefit of my knowledge of criminal law, criminal prodedure, the rules of evidence and my experience and skill in the courtroom.
