25 Lower Woodbridge Rd., Snowmass Village, Colorado
I have a wide and varying legal background. I'm a graduate of the University of Southern California, with a BA in Political Science. I earned the degree of Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California, School of Law, where I was a member and Editor of the University of Southern California Law Review. After graduating in the upper percentage of my class, I went back to law school and obtained a post graduate certification in Medical-Legal studies.
I served as a Judge of the North Orange County Judicial District, achieving the position of Assistant Presiding Judge. I also served as a Judge ProTem and Arbitrator-Mediator for the Orange County Superior Court. I have served as the Managing Principal of several medium sized law firms. My experience includes being an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Irvine University School of Law and an Associate Professor of Law at the Western States College of Law.
I came to the Roaring Fork Valley over 17 years ago, where I have practiced law ever since, with emphasis on criminal defense of all types of cases. My experience ranges from defending homicide to DUI case to persons accused of minor petty offenses. I have tried several hundred jury trials. I have won multi figure economic verdicts for my injured clients. I have successfully presented cases before the California and Colorado Supreme Courts. I am admitted to Practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the Supreme Court of Colorado, The Supreme Court of California (inactive), and several Districts of the United States District Courts. I am a former Chief Deputy District Attorney for the 9th Judicial District of Colorado, in charge of managing the Aspen Office of the District Attorney.
I have resumed his private practice of law and can call upon my vast experience in the legal profession and my many contacts and colleagues to serve each of my clients with individual and undivided attention.
