Mr. Spinella graduated from Providence College and attended the University of Connecticut School of Law where he was an Associate Editor of the Insurance Law Journal. After graduating with a Juris Doctorate degree in 2003, he became a research clerk for the superior court judges in the State of Connecticut. Mr. Spinella became a Deputy Assistant States Attorney where he spent more than eleven years prosecuting and trying cases on behalf of the State of Connecticut, concluding his work as a Senior Assistant States Attorney. He served as a prosecutor assigned to the New Haven and Hartford Judicial Districts and went on to prosecute cases all over the state for the Statewide Prosecution Bureau of the Chief States Attorney's Office.
Mr. Spinella has experience in all criminal matters, including: drug trafficking, domestic violence, sexual assault, driving under the influence, larceny, kidnapping, assault, child pornography, computer crime, embezzlement, fraud, child abuse, motor vehicle violations and murder. He lives in Wethersfield where he coaches ice hockey and is a parishioner and lector at The Church of the Incarnation.
