Florida criminal defense attorney Chris Beardslee grew up in Michigan and permanently relocated to Florida in 2008. Chris enlisted in the US Navy in March of 2003 serving on deployments to Japan, Germany and Afghanistan. Chris completed his undergraduate degree from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL while on active duty. Upon completion of his enlistment, Chris entered law school at The Florida State University College of Law. During his law school experience, Chris clerked for local criminal defense lawyers in Tallahassee, derived course credit through an internship with the 2nd Circuit Public Defender’s Office and was elected President of the law school’s Mock Trial team. He is licensed to practice in all Florida and Colorado state courts and the Federal Middle District of Florida. Chris has represented clients in a wide range of charges ranging from traffic citations throguh capital sex battery cases and drug trafficking matters. He has represented clients in hundreds of DUI cases taking several to a not guilty verdict at jury trial. Chris is a member of the National College of DUI Defense and has been through the student course on conducting Field Sobriety Exercises and Labs; the same course police officers go through for their trainging.
