Jacob grew up in Duncan, South Carolina, where he was a two time Cross Country State Champion at Byrnes Highschool. This honor enabled him to attend Birmingham Southern College on a combined athletic and academic scholarship. While there he gained admission to both the Psi Chi and Phi Alpha Theta honor societies.
Upon Graduation from BSC Jacob attended Texas Tech University School of Law where he spent two years working for a local criminal defense firm, learning and honing his skills for criminal defense work upon graduation.
After graduating from law school Jacob and his wife moved back to her hometown of Marietta, GA and later to Forsyth County.
After gaining admission to the Georgia Bar, Jacob began his practice with Epps and Pilgrim and later with Epps and Stidham, focusing his practice on Criminal Defense. Jacob later founded The Stidham Law Firm, a solo practice devoted solely to defending citizens accused in the varoius State and Federal Courts of Georgia. Jacob continues his zealous representation today as an attorney with Banks, Stubbs, & McFarland. Jacob has also been granted membership in the prestigious National College for DUI Defense where he attended and graduated the National DUI Defense Trial College held at Harvard University School of Law.
When he is not at the Law Office Jacob enjoys spending time with his family and participating in various athletic and outdoor endeavors.
