I practice almost exclusively in the area of criminal defense including traffic, DUI, misdemeanor and felony charges. I have tried multiple cases to verdict, both jury and bench, which alows me to negotiate much beter results for those who a trial is not a viable option. I am a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Illinois Stae Bar Association, Criminal and Traffic Commitees, the Kane and DuPage Bar Associations and a member of the College of DUI defense. I have authored articles regarding search issues, DUI, and ohers. i have been sucessful in Appellate work in having cases overturned after verdict and authored amicus briefs on behalf of the ISBA. I was also one of the first attorneys in Kane County to be qualified to handle capital cases while the death penalty was in existence. I have handeled well over 20 murder cases with a vast majority bein found not guilty or resulting in conviction for a lower offense.
