There is no greater feeling than standing next to your client and hearing the words "Not Guilty."
Despite only 6.5 years as a criminal defense attorney, I've come to know that feeling well. In my short legal career, I've tried over 50 cases, ranging from murder & drug trafficking to DUIs & Domestics, and had over 150 cases dismissed. I've also been published by the Illinois State Bar Association and Kane County Bar Association, as well as been two-time guest on Illinois Criminal Law Podcast Illinoiscaselaw.com.
After passing the bar in 2011, I worked at the Kane County Public Defender's Office as an Assistant Public Defender for 6 years. During that time, I learned how to fight for the underdog. In October of 2017, I joined Robert Callahan & Associates and immediately began trying cases, winning my first major jury verdict with the firm in December of 2017 for a Cannabis Trafficking, Cl. X felony.
I strongly believes that criminal defense isn't just a job. It isn't even a career. For me, it's a lifestyle. I study the law on a daily basis to keep up with the ever evolving criminal justice world. I am always trying to find new tools and strategies for my clients' cases. Now more than ever, you need a criminal defense attorney who wakes up everyday thinking about one thing: your rights.
