I am Kansas City born and raised. I spent four wonderful years in Nashville Tennessee; however, I knew I was coming back home eventually. After completing law school at the University of Kansas, I began building a foundation for my own law practice. Initially, I began practicing as a personal injury attorney. Wanting to gain a better understanding for the craft, and in an effort to gain more experience, I worked for an insurance defense company. While those jobs taught me about the process, I wanted to hone my skill in the courtroom. Joining the Public Defender's Office provided the perfect opportunity. For two years, I was in the courtroom almost daily, defending clients against all different types of felony charges.

Now, I am putting that foundation to use for my clients. I'm well versed in criminal and civil litigation. I believe that my success hinges on my reputation with my clients. As a result, I take pride in ensuring client satisfaction with each case.
