Ambar (or “amber” as – inexplicably – called by most) brings over 10 years of litigation experience to her practice. Her commitment to her clients and her passion about righting the wrongs of a flawed legal system, are only a few of the reasons why you will want her in your corner. With a soft voice and a kind demeanor, ambar is the perfect example that you don’t have to be loud to be heard. Prior to dedicating her practice exclusively to criminal defense, she represented injured workers in all stages of their workers’ compensation claims. In her native Dominican Republic, her practice ranged from civil litigation, employment and labor claims, to criminal fraud & abuse claims and white collar crimes. This experience has provided her with a broad foundation and interdisciplinary understanding of the many aspects of litigation, as well as a unique insight into the cultural complexities of the criminal justice system.
ambar defends clients from a wide variety of charges ranging from the most serious felonies to misdemeanor-level offenses. Her practice areas include generally: violent crimes, drug crimes, theft and/or property crimes, OUI/drunk driving and motor vehicle offenses, and public order offenses.
She’s fluent in Spanish, French and Portuguese (though self-admittedly rusty). When not practicing law, she enjoys traveling, ballroom dancing, binge-watching true-crime documentaries, and -wait for it – exploring the beach.
