About Tayler J. Rahm

Tayler J. Rahm is owner and lead trial lawyer at Rahm Law, PLLC handling all State and Federal criminal charges from Misdemeanors to Felonies. Mr. Rahm is an Aggressive, Respected and Experienced Attorney who has impressed Juries, Opposing Counsel and Judges for years thus being named a Top 40 Under 40 Trial Lawyer in the State of Minnesota at the age of 30.

Mr. Rahm is a talented trial lawyer whose dedication, preparation and skills have allowed him to successfully conduct multiple jury trials to verdict in serious criminal cases, including multiple homicide trials. He has successfully engineered the dismissal of several serious charges his clients were facing by proving that the way in which the State obtained the evidence violated his clients’ Constitutional Rights. He has achieved multiple sentencing departures for clients resulting in sentences that were reduced from what the Minnesota Sentencing Guidelines recommend including preventing multiple clients from going to prison. And, he has had multiple charges reduced and attained favorable negotiated settlements for his clients. In addition to his success in criminal defense practice, Mr. Rahm has developed a serious DWI practice representing clients charged with all levels of DWI – including vehicular homicides and implied consent matters.

Mr. Rahm has represented hundreds of clients facing DWI charges and takes pride in staying up to date on all existing DWI law and technology, including the scientific reliability of breath tests. Mr. Rahm’s experience, knowledge and success in defending DWI’s have led many lawyers who practice in DWI law to reach out to Tayler for his expertise in DWI law and representation.

Prior to starting Rahm Law, PLLC, Mr. Rahm gained experience as an associate attorney. After graduating law school, he immediately started working as an Associate Attorney at the Respected Firm of Kassius Benson Law, located in Downtown Minneapolis. He gained valuable experience as an Attorney and worked his way up to being named the lead Associate in the Criminal Division after only two years at the firm and was responsible for handling all DWI’s, Criminal Vehicular Homicides and Implied Consent Matters in the office. He was involved in many cases that received Local and National Attention and immediately made a name for himself as a “young and aggressive” attorney. Mr. Rahm also used his talents representing clients in Family Law by fighting for their rights.

Prior to graduating Law School, Mr. Rahm worked as a law clerk for the Anoka County (Minnesota) Public Defender’s Officer, where, as a Certified Student Attorney, he represented indigent clients. He represented clients from their first appearance through trial, where he was successful in achieving tremendous results on behalf of his clients, prior to even having a Law license.

Mr. Rahm also worked as a law clerk for a Private Defense Firm before graduating law school. He was exposed to some of the biggest trials in the State of Minnesota while clerking at the firm. He was instrumental in the engineering of several dismissals on major cases and assisted in trial preparation.

Mr. Rahm is a graduate of William Mitchell College of Law. While in law school, he distinguished himself as an excellent student as exemplified by his nomination for the Kirwin Professional Award; one of a handful of students nominated by professors based upon the individual’s work ethic, personal character, dedication, and passion for the law. He was also a member of William Mitchell’s criminal law society.

Mr. Rahm received his undergraduate degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. While at St. Thomas, Tayler excelled as a student and as a collegiate baseball player. He was a 4-year starting outfielder and member of the 2009 NCAA National Championship Team. While captain of the team, Tayler was named Conference Player of the Year.
