He regularly defends clients from charges for DWI/DUI and impaired driving, homicide, drug possession and drug distribution, sexual assault, assault, theft, possession of pornography and a range of motor vehicle offenses. Prior to joining the Firm, Jim served as Assistant Attorney General in the New Hampshire Department of Justice. He was assigned to the Homicide Unit where he successfully tried several high profile murder cases. At the Attorney General's Office, he was one of two prosecutors assigned to the Task Force responsible for the investigation and prosecution of the Diocese of Manchester for failing to protect children from sexually abusive clergy. The Union Leader, New Hampshire's only paper of state wide circulation, named Jim to its "40 Under 40" list in 2005, which is an annual collection of the State's "young leaders." Jim is active in the community in legal and civic matters. He is currently on the Board of the Concord, New Hampshire Chamber of Commerce and is active in several youth sports organizations as a board member and a coach.
