Dennis Wixted graduated with Honors from LaSalle College in 1970 and from Rutgers University Law School in 1973. Following a judicial clerkship, he joined the Camden County Prosecutor's Office as an Assistant Prosecutor, where he remained for over sixteen years. As the head of the Organized Crime Unit, Homicide Unit, and as First Assistant Prosecutor, he was involved in thousands of investigations and many jury trials.

After joining Sufrin & Zucker in 1990, Dennis was certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a specialist in all areas of Criminal Law. He handles many DUI, DWI, and Municipal Court matters on an extensive basis. He also specializes in other areas of litigation such as Personal Injury, Negligence, Contract Law, Business Law, Commercial Transactions, and practice before Administrative Agencies. He is a member of the Camden County Bar Association and lectures frequently to other members of the Bar on matters within his area of expertise. He is licensed to practice before the United States District Court, the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
