In 1989, Thomas ambrosio a graduate of Seton Hall Law School, began his legal career as the law clerk to NJ Superior Court, Criminal Division Judge Piscatella. On the first day of his clerkship a man was sentenced to 4 years in prison for a minor drug offense. The prosecutors had 5 people and a probation officer on their side of the courtroom demanding the man be put in prison. The defendant had only a public defender and no family members or friends came to speak on behalf of the man soon to be spending a good chunk of his young life in prison. The entire sentencing hearing took less than 10 minutes and a man's life was changed forever. Immediately after the sentence was pronounced the man was put into handcuffs and taken to a holding cell to then be put on a bus bound for prison. That was not fair! Thomas ambrosio decided at that moment he wanted to become a criminal defense attorney. For the last 25 years Thomas ambrosio has never forgotten how lopsided and unfair the criminal justice system is to defendants. He has continuously striven to even the playing field by using every legal technique and ounce of energy to defend the rights of his clients. He often reminds his clients that he is their only friend in the battle against the government and defends all his clients as if they were his own family member.
Thomas Ambrosio, a dedicated criminal lawyer in Lyndhurst, is committed to protecting clients and defending their rights.
