887A Washington Street, Raleigh, North Carolina
I am a North Carolina native. I grew up and went to high school in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. I am the first attorney in my family. My father works in the timber industry and my mother is a retired school teacher. I first moved to Raleigh to attend North Carolina State University. Thereafter, I left NC to attend law school in the state of Georgia. Immediately upon graduation, I returned to North Carolina. I currently live in downtown Raleigh with my wife and young son. Our family believes it is important to be deeply rooted in the heart of our community. We are members of First Presbyterian Church in downtown Raleigh which is where our child attends preschool.
When not focusing time serving my clients, I enjoy spending time in the outdoors with my family. I am also an avid supporter of NC State Wolfpack athletics. I am a member of many professional assocations focused on helping others through the practice of law. I am also regularly involved with providing pro bono legal services to clients of The Healing Place of Wake County, a non-profit entity helping homeless Wake County residents dealing with addiction.
