Meredith has lived in Raleigh since 2003 and earned her juris doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law. While in law school, Meredith worked for Legal Aid of North Carolina and the North Carolina Center on Actual Innocence. She spent her law school summers, in part, working with the North Carolina Supreme Court Clerk's office and the Georgia Justice Project. After graduating, Meredith joined the law firm Millberg Gordon Stewart in Raleigh, representing individuals and companies with civil matters in North Carolina state and federal courts.
Meredith grew up in Duluth, Georgia, and graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2002 with a degree in psychology.
