Jace D. Having worked as a public defender at Multnomah Defenders Inc. and as a criminal defense associate for former prosecutor, now veteran criminal defense attorney, John Gutbezahl, Mr. Cook has successfully tried misdemeanor, felony, and restraining order cases before judges and juries. Prior to his work in criminal defense, Mr. Cook gained significant experience at general practice law firms, personal injury firms, and in-house legal departments. Mr. Cook learned what did and did not work...what did and did not benefit the client. From his time working with former prosecutors, Mr. Cook has an inside track on many of the procedures and strategies employed by DA offices in Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington Counties. Based on the above foundation of "real world" experiences and knowledge, Mr. Cook built COOK LAW.
