A large part of Jimmy’s practice consists of defending individuals charged with criminal offenses. Often times this is a person’s first brush with law enforcement. A Memphis native, Jimmy graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Administration. Prior to entering law school, he worked for Covenant Transport in Chattanooga, TN, one of the largest trucking companies in the Southeastern United States at the time. This education and experience has provided Jimmy with unique, firsthand knowledge of the transportation industry and federal motor carrier regulations not held by the average attorney. As an attorney, Jimmy has also represented a number of trucking companies in injury and wrongful death claims. After graduating from the Nashville School of Law in 2011, he joined a well-respected insurance defense firm in downtown Nashville.
