Mac was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2008. He attended South Texas College of Law. While attending law school, Mac's primary focus was on criminal law. He is an Honorary Member of the internationally recognized, TKE fraternity.

Mac has worked in the legal field for over 21 years in both civil and criminal firms. He worked for, and was guided by, the legendary criminal defense lawyer, Dick DeGuerin. As a practicing lawyer, Mac has handled cases in both state and federal court, misdemeanors to felonies and written appellate briefs. Mac's vast legal experience provides him with the knowledge, skill, and proficiency to advocate for his client's rights.
