1402 Texas Ave., Lubbock, Texas
First and foremost, I have the experience and knowledge needed to defend your rights if you are accused of commiting a crime in Lubbock and/or surrounding counties. Whether you are guilty or innocent, I will defend your rights to the best of my abilities.
I am a three time graduate of Texas Tech University. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2008, a Master’s in Business Administration in 2011, and a Doctorate’s in Jurisprudence in 2011. I have been licensed to practice in all the courts of the State of Texas since 2012. While attending Texas Tech School of Law, I was awarded the coveted Excellence for the Future Award, only given to the students with the highest grade in their class. After a 9 month externship for the Lubbock County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, I formed The Wanner Law Firm to serve citizens of Lubbock and surrounding counties. I have represented clients as far away as Houston, Texas and in many different areas of the law, including family, probate, contract, commercial, and construction just to name a few.
I have served as a Board Member, Secretary, and Vice President of Education and am currently the President-Elect for the Lubbock Criminal Defense Bar Association.
I attend multiple educational seminars annually and have been recognized by the College of the State Bar of Texas for attending at least double the required continuing education credits required by the State Bar. In actuality, I have earned over 200 hours of continuing education credits since January of 2014 in order to keep up-to-date on the ever chaning laws our legislatures make. Most recently, I was chosen as one of only 80 attorneys in Texas to attend the Texas Criminal Trial College in Huntsville. While there I learned and demonstrated the latest trial techniques at the weeklong seminar. Due to my hard work, I was chosen in 2019 to become a regular presenter at seminars organized by the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association to educate other Criminal Defense Attonreys.
When I'm not working hard for my clients or attending seminars across the state of Texas, I enjoys spending time with my Family, reading books, and working with my hands.
