Mr. Fredericks began his career as a prosecutor in the Collin County District Attorney’s Office in 2005. Mr. Fredericks was promoted to misdemeanor chief prosecutor in less than a year. Mr. Fredericks was soon promoted to the felony division where he worked in multiple units. Mr. Fredericks was assigned to the special prosecution unit where he prosecuted mortgage fraud, securities fraud, and other white-collar crimes. Mr. Fredericks worked in the juvenile prosecution unit where he prosecuted youth offenders between the ages of 10 and 16 for crimes ranging from theft to murder. Mr. Fredericks finished his prosecution career as a felony trial prosecutor representing the State in all levels of felony crimes. During Mr. Fredericks ten year career he prosecuted every crime from traffic tickets to capital murder. Mr. Fredericks has tried over 150 jury trials and well over 300 bench trials. Mr. Fredericks is Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
