About Michelle Scudder

Michelle Scudder is a former King County Prosecuting Attorney where she prosecuted numerous cases to verdict including violent crime, sex crimes, DUIs, economic crimes and weapon possessions. Michelle also supervised incoming attorneys in the District Court Unit where she filed and negotiated a high volume of cases.

Michelle opened her own practice in 2014 after seeing too many people being railroaded by the system. She now uses her knowledge and skills to provide exceptional advocacy for those who find themselves involved in a system that can be inherently unfair to those charged with a crime.

This experience of learning the criminal justice system from the inside out has proved invaluable as an advocate for those accused of crimes. Michelle has won significant victories including the rare occurrence of obtaining jury verdicts awarding clients self-defense reimbursement from the state in three separate cases, as well as not guilty verdicts after trial and reductions in charges in hundreds of cases.
