James was born and raised in Toronto where he studied in both French and English. In 2006 he completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree at Concordia University and then he completed his Juris Doctor of Law at Bond University.
Over the years as a criminal defence lawyer, he has represented clients charged with criminal offences including murder, attempted murder, driving offences, domestic assault, possession and trafficking of drugs, gun related offences, robbery, breaking and entering, mischief, frauds, thefts and breaching conditions and orders.
James has appeared in both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice for bail hearings, preliminary hearings, motions and trials. He has also obtained very favourable resolutions for his clients prior to trial, including withdrawals, peace bonds, and discharges.
James is a current member of the Law Society of Ontario, Criminal Lawyers Association and continues to develop his professional skills in the areas of criminal, regulatory and employment law.
