Derek Yaromich completed his initial post-secondary education at Brock University where he graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree with a combined major in Political Science and History. Derek received his Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Thompson Rivers University in British Columbia. Derek’s interest in the legal system began at a very young. Upon completing his Grade 11 Legal Studies course, Derek became committed to pursuing a career in law. While in law school, Derek was heavily involved in the academic community. He was a member of Pro Bono Students Canada, the Faculty of Law Dean’s Hiring Committee, multiple oral advocacy clubs, as well as a caucus representative on the Thompson Rivers University Parking Appeals and Advisory Committee.
