Sigler is fearless. She knows the judges, the prosecutors, the probation officers, and has handled nearly every kind of case from armed robbery to possession of weed. She's logged hundreds of hours in trials and thousands negotiating plea deals.
Sigler personally re-started Forsyth County's Drug Treatment Court in response the opioid epidemic. To do that, she founded Phoenix Rising of Winston Salem, Inc, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to fighting addiction. She serves as the President of Phoenix Rising and serves as pro bono defense counsel in Drug Treatment Court.
Outside the world of law, Sigler has an adopted, autistic son; 3 dogs; and 2 cats. SShe loves to read fiction. She's a rabid NY Yankees fan; a Tar Heels basketball fan; a Pittsburgh Penguins hockey fan; and a Pittsburgh Steelers football fan.
In a past life, Sigler worked backstage in theatre and opera and traveled the world. She's been to England, Ireland, Scotland, Poland, Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Vienna. She's seen Auschwitz and Birkenau II in the driving snow of winter; watched the birds fly over the Charles Bridge in Prague; and eaten homemade ice cream on the square in Krakow.
Sigler practices law because she loves it. If she did not practice law, she would rescue dogs.
Kerri Lee Sigler, a dedicated criminal lawyer in Winston Salem, is committed to protecting clients and defending their rights.
