Liza Yang Fairfax Criminal Lawyer

Born and raised in Oakton, Virginia, Liza began working at Greenspun Shapiro as an Administrative Assistant in 2009. She then became the firm’s Office Manager in 2011. In addition to her work as Office Manager, Liza is currently enrolled as a student at George Mason University Law School. Prior to working at Greenspun Shapiro, Liza graduated from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Art’s Degree in Spanish, and minors in Russian and Journalism. In addition to translating for Spanish-speaking clients at Greenspun Shapiro, prior to enrolling in law school Liza used her Spanish language background to tutor students of all levels. At George Mason, Liza is the Auction Coordinator for the GMU Law School Pro Bono Society, and a competing member of the Trial Advocacy Association. She is also an active volunteer and former Board Member for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NamI) Northern Virginia.
