Brandon Moscoe is a tireless litigator with a sharp legal mind and compassionate demeanor with his clients. He practices in administrative law with a particular focus on motor vehicle offences. He is the go-to-guy for any matters related to the Superintendent of Motor Vehicles, a.k.a. RoadSafetyBC.

Brandon brings his critical insight and astute decision-making to driving-related cases, such as driving prohibitions, driving while prohibited charges, and traffic tickets, including distracted driving, speeding and excessive speeding. He also handles judicial reviews of 90-day IRPs and ADPs.

Outside of administrative law, Brandon Moscoe has experience dealing with civil cases such as personal injury and motor vehicle accident claims as well as some criminal defence cases.

A passionate defender, Brandon is proud if his commitment to his clients. He remains in constant communication with his clients, so they understand the entire process of their legal matter from beginning to end. Brandon always keeps the people he is representing informed and gives them honest, direct advice about what to expect.

Brandon has an enviable amount of court experience. He has been involved in hearings at every level of court in B.C., something not a lot of lawyers can say. He is always happy to go to court for his clients and forthrightly argue their case. Brandon has some big wins under his belt at the B.C. Supreme Court, including Wieruszewski v. British Columbia in which his client was charged with failing to provide a sample of breath at the roadside. Brandon successfully argued that the police failed to give instructions as to what his client was doing wrong when blowing into the breathalyzer. The decision has been relied upon in several subsequent cases.

Brandon Moscoe completed his J.D. at Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law. While completing his Law degree, he volunteered for the Legal Services Society and involved himself in the faculty’s Public Legal Information Project.
