Amanda Taylor was born and raised in Toronto where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology from York University. Ms. Taylor excelled throughout her undergraduate studies and it was during this time she developed a strong passion for Criminal law. Following the completion of her undergraduate degree, Ms. Taylor continued her education and received a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. While in law school Ms. Taylor focused exclusively in the area of Criminal Law and participated in the Criminal Law Intensive Placement offered exclusively at Osgoode Law School.

After graduating from law school Ms. Taylor articled with Calvin Barry Professional Corporation. Ms. Taylor was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2012. Since being called to the Bar, Ms. Taylor has become the proud owner of Taylor Criminal Law, a criminal defence firm that represents individuals charged with criminal offences under the Criminal Code of Canada and other Regulatory Acts.
