Robb is driven towards the human element of criminal law and enjoys the opportunity to help others navigate out of the worst problems of their lives. Robb is an easy going and social individual. He enjoys many good relationships with Crown Attorneys and other members of the Ontario criminal defence bar. Robb gets along well with his clients and does what he can to put them at ease while representing them with force and professionalism.

Robb’s forte is criminal jury trials. Robb has gone out of his way to take on complex and challenging cases and to put in the time required to achieve incredible results for his clients. In doing so, Robb has earned a reputation for being honest, hardworking, and committed to winning.

Before becoming a Toronto criminal lawyer, Robb studied law and received his J.D. from Queen’s University in Kingston. Robb completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Western Ontario and the University of Texas at Austin. While in Texas Robb played hockey and water skied for the University of Texas.

Robb is currently in a law chambers with some of the best criminal defence lawyers in the country including the renowned John Struthers and David Butt. After his first year in law school, Robb began working at the law offices of the renowned, Edward Greenspan QC in Toronto, Ontario. Before developing his own criminal law practice, Robb articled in the Advocacy department at Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP – one of Canada’s largest law firms. In 2003 Robb left working in finance, at RBC Dominion Securities, to fulfill a lifelong goal of becoming a trial lawyer. While in law school Robb won two provincial championships for Court Room Advocacy – the Arnup Cup and the Ontario Trial Lawyers’ Association Cup. In the latter competition, Robb was recognized as the best individual advocate in the competition. In private practice, Robb has argued and won numerous trials in Ontario’s Provincial and Superior courts, however, many of his clients have benefited from his negotiation skills out of court. Robb has repeatedly managed to have his clients’ charges dropped or stayed even when those clients faced numerous and serious charges.
