KAREN L. LYDECKER is an associate in the firm’s Vernon office where she practices in the firm’s Litigation Department. Ms. Lydecker focuses her practice in the following areas: Criminal Defense including DUIs, Domestic Violence and Motor Vehicle Infractions, Child Protection Law, and General Business Litigation. She is admitted to practice before the state and federal bars of Connecticut, as well as in the state of New York.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Lydecker was a public defender for six years serving in the Hartford, New Britain and Middletown GA courts. She also has experience handling legal and medical malpractice claims having worked for two New Haven and Hartford county litigation firms.

After her graduation from Western New England College School of Law, Ms. Lydecker served as a law clerk at the Connecticut Appellate Court serving The Honorable Joseph H. Pellegrino and The Honorable Socrates H. Mihalakos. Ms. Lydecker graduated in the top of her law school class and was a member of the Western New England Law Review.
